The Bothy is a modern,three-bedroomed, self-catering holiday cottage built in traditional Scottish style situated some seven miles from Portree. Well-appointed and comfortably furnished with heating in all rooms it occupies an elevated position above the single-track Braes Road (B883) overlooking the beautiful Sound of Raasay.
Surrounded by working crofts in a quiet and tranquil location traffic congestion only occurs when the sheep walk down the road.
There are magnificent views from all windows in the house.
The Aird, the attractive winged-shaped peninsula is within easy walking distance where, at low tide, the adventurous can access deep and mysterious caves. The Bothy is situated on the eastern slopes of Ben Lee providing pleasant hill walks right on the doorstep.
